New Hire Structure and Advancement Process

  • Phone interview

  • In-person interview

  • 1-week trial period

  • 90-day probationary period with 30-60-90 day evaluation from crew leader

  • 1 yr of being a crew helper, training and development

  • Sit down Q&A on relevant information they should have picked up on and standards you should know.

  • If satisfactory, you will be eligible to advance to 1 of the 3 open positions:

                    1. Crew partner

                    2. Crew Leader

                    3. Technician in training (minimum 6 months of training and commitment to 3 years holding that position)

 

Job Description

We are currently searching for a dedicated Crew Worker to join our construction, repair, and remodeling team. This role is an entry-level position where you will hone or develop your skills for a potential opportunity to advance within the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to collaborate within a team environment, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic construction setting. A solid comprehension or ability to learn construction principles, codes, and protocols is essential for this role. Previous experience is not required! Your responsibilities will involve direct collaboration with fellow crew members, active training & participation in ongoing projects, and a commitment to contributing insights and observations to enhance processes. This role requires a hands-on approach to learning various facets of the job, a quick grasp of new techniques, & the ability to retain knowledge learned over time.

Your tasks will encompass a range of activities, including but not limited to:

  • Gutter removal and installation
  • Gutter covers
  • Chimney repair/ repointing
  • Chimney maintenance/ sweep/ inspection
  • Appliance repair/ installation/ maintenance
  • framing/ minor roof repair
  • Gutter drainage

Preferred qualifications for this role:

  • Gutter installation
  • Drainage (PVC) installation
  • Ability to work at height over 40′ with safety equipment
  • Ability to work in tight or confined spaces such as crawl spaces
  • Ability to learn and retain information
  • To not only have the drive to do the job right but the hunger to know why it is right
