Lift FAQ

Accessing the work area is one of the biggest challenges to safety and quality. We may use a lift to keep our technicians safe and allow them to more easily reach areas that otherwise would be difficult or impossible.

No. The lift that we use is specially designed for navigating yards and minimizing any impact. It weighs about the same as an SUV. We will take precautions to ensure that your yard is well cared for. The precautions include using pads like plywood to help distribute the weight of the lift across a wide surface area.

We will bring the lift on our own trailer and park in the best location for unloading and loading. The lift itself is capable of driving short distances to the final setup location. Often this means parking the trailer on the street or in a cul de sac for loading and unloading. Unless the work spans multiple days, we will not be leaving the lift onsight while we are not there.

In most cases, no. The lift is capable of driving through a 36” wide gate. If any special work needs to be done for access to the backyard, the sales rep will mention it at the time of quoting.

The lift weighs about 7,000 lbs which is about the same weight as an SUV.

No. The lift weighs about the same as an SUV, so there is almost no chance that it can damage your driveway.

No! The lift is designed to accommodate for difficult terrain and can drive and setup on most hills. If there are any special concerns, the sales rep will make note at the time of quoting.
