Home to The University of North Carolina and the UNC Tarheels, Chapel Hill is a vibrant and busy town full of students and educators as well as lifelong residents that enjoy all the culture the area has to offer. The town surrounds the UNC campus with its iconic Old Well and Belltower. Over the years, Chimneys Plus, Inc. has installed a Bellfires fireplace and liner in the Franklin Street home of the UNC President as well as visiting many of the other stately homes near the UNC campus.
Chapel Hill is just a short distance up 15-501 from our office so we regularly sweep the chimneys of homes in neighborhoods like Southern Village, The Oaks, Governors Club and Eastwood. We perform a lot of wood to gas conversions and install newer high efficiency wood and gas burning stoves and fireplaces in Chapel Hill homes as residents seek to preserve and maintain the natural beauty of the area while saving money on their heating costs.
